Residents and business community in Taita Taveta County have a golden opportunity to showcase their impact , innovation and trade investment opportunities to investors during the 6th Jumuiya Agribusiness & Blue Economy Investment conference JABEIC 2024 to be held on 27th to 29th November at Voi.
The platform of over 1400 delegates offered by the 6 coastal counties, gives a platform to over 1000 contributors to network and exhibit the vast investment potential of Taita Taveta County and unpack it’s mantra ” The Hidden treasure” .
According to Governor Andrew Mwadime, the County and it’s stakeholders will present bankable projects including investment in healthcare infrastructure, agriculture, blue economy ventures, rice value chain expansion plan, livestock export, infrastructure development and industrial minerals, aiming for actionable commitments, such as Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to empower it’s people .
The event will also explore youth employment opportunities, create synergies in agribusiness, blue economy , promote tourism and culture through collaboration, exibition for SMEs and investment solutions to challenges in order to change the story of the coast region.
Addressing the media, JABEIC secretariat, business community and CECMS, Deputy Governor Christine Kilalo noted that the conference reflects the shared ambition for sustainable economic growth and prosperity across the vibrant coastal region of Kenya.
